Sport Shopping

As an internationally ranked sport shopper, Anna finds herself in a quandary. Are shopping related mobile phone applications equivalent to performance enhancing drugs in professional sports or just a logical technical evolution?

Turkey?

Max: Are we having a pot roast tonight?
Anna: Of course not. It's Thanksgiving. We're having a traditional turkey dinner.
Max: A beef turkey?

On The Go

How do you expect Max to get his work done during the day if he cannot use his steering wheel desk? Some of us don't have fancy offices you know.

Ocean Front Property

Max would like to remind you it's a great time to buy especially if you are a first-time home buyer. And speaking of which, he has some great ocean front property for sale if you are interested.

Motivation and Christmas Cards

People often ask me why they should pay $6,000 for one of Anna's motivational seminars. Well, let's just say I would easily pay double that after she motivated Max into finishing our Christmas cards early this year.

(Hint, use flavored envelopes)

Early Bird

With regards to Bcelebrated.com, Anna suggests you register early. She says you never know when one of your more conniving "friends" might try to secretly register you and "celebrate" some of the more questionable moments in your life let alone hacking the automatic passing away email. Though, she is still refusing to name any names.

Leggo

Max has been ordering loads of bulk Eggo boxes on our business account. He is not a big cereal eater and the recent Kellogg's Eggo rationing notice scared him.

Modern Art

We love art around here. Anna has her amazing collection of Charles Partridge Adams and I love collectioning Sam Toft originals. And while we try to keep on open mind, we are just not sold on Max's newest piece, Bacon Sunrise.

Anna, Bring The Car Around

As one of the world's leading ornithologist, Max completely understands how one could drive their car into a salt water marsh. To avoid this embarrassment, Max always brings his chauffeur even when taking the Bugatti.

Favorites

Anna wants to know why the US government is so focused on Pakistan's strategic arsenal. She thinks Max is far more unstable and worrisome.

Messages

As expected, Max was not invited to the walk in this year's New York Veterans Day Parade with his fellow code talkers. You have to remember, he forget most of the actual code during the Iwo Jima invasion. While the signal officers desperately needed to send coded messages, Max could only repeat "hijila tabaah" and "haadila todilhil ba hooghan". Arguably, "where is the beach" might have been useful but "where is the bar" simply did not help.

Mondays

Anna found her new "Monday morning" poem after recently listening to Fresh Air:

Hi, how are you today

I'm feeling very horrible
And low and mean and mad
And dreadful and deplorable
And rotten, sick and sad
And nasty and unbearable
And hateful, vile and blue
But thanks a lot for asking
And please tell me ...
How are you?

Illegal

There has to be something wrong with Marco's Abruzzo pizza; it cannot legally taste this good. Anna is definitely going to file a complaint with the FDA as soon as she finishes her Nutella dessert pizza.

House Keeping

Max just discovered that people can spend years building doll houses and are willing to pay $1500 for a miniature chandeller. I know what we'll be discussing during next weeks strategy and business development meeting?

Smells Like Yesterday

Don't tell work but in between calls and code compilations I was sneaking peeks at Facebook. I noticed an old high school friend had posted some of those wonderfully cliche yearbook photos. I drifted off into a moment of nostalgia awoken only by the smell of dumplings. Maybe Max picked up on my day dream but he had a beef stew filling with dumpling cooking in the kitchen -- just like I remembered growing up.

The Number 10

A few years ago Anna and I returned from snowshoeing to find Max gently placing numbered cards on the living room floor. He was carefully aligning every card exactly 1/4 of an inch apart using little plastic spacers. He then proceeded to load his nerf gun and fired a single shot randomly in the air. A direct hit on number 10.

I always wondered how he selected the hookworm dosage for his autoimmune testing. What ever his methods, it's showing some surprisingly strong results.

By Design

Anna did not even get up from her chai tea as the Oasis sailed under The East Bridge. Anna knew her design was perfect and that she would fit perfectly under the bridge. In fact, I think her biggest concern that night was whether or not Max added one or two sugars.
